A complete redesign. Highlander Racing’s third fully electric vehicle is here. Our newest design of our car is built to be successfully completed and compete against our toughest competitors. We complete reorganized our team and they are all ready to engineer. In our past, being a collegiate racing often meant a roster comprised primarily of mechanical engineers, but with an electric racecar, electrical engineers and computer scientists are crucial. In previous years it was a weak spot, but in 2022 we have increased the EE/CS team size by 400% to better develop our team's knowledge base and experience in this aspect of electric vehicle design. Our increased efforts in this area will allow us to develop smarter, faster vehicles on a quicker design and iteration cycle, and give us more data on vehicle behavior than ever before.
